Information we collect and how we use it
We may collect the following types of information:
Log
information – When you access ShopDAQ services via a browser,
application or other client our servers automatically record certain
information. These server logs may include information such as your web
request, your interaction with a service, Internet Protocol address,
browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and
one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your
account.
User communications – When you send email or other
communications to ShopDAQ, we may retain those communications in order
to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our
services. When you send and receive SMS messages to or from one of our
services that provides SMS functionality, we may collect and maintain
information associated with those messages, such as the phone number,
the wireless carrier associated with the phone number, the content of
the message, and the date and time of the transaction. We may use your
email address to communicate with you about our services.
ShopDAQ
browser extension product and site data – We offer browser extensions
that enable users to automatically comparison shop when they shop
online. For these services to work, we must collect information that
uniquely identifies the products being viewed and the e-commerce sites
the products are viewed on. On occasion, we may also extract
product information that appears on non e-commerce sites or content
that is formatted similarly to product information on non e-commerce
sites.
Internet Protocol (IP) Address - When your browser
connects with other sites on the Internet, your IP address is used to
route information back to your computer.
Location and language
data – ShopDAQ relies on location and language data to ensure that you
receive the correct product prices for your location. ShopDAQ may
receive information about your actual location or langauge or
information that can be used to impute a location or language (such as
your IP address).
Other sites – This Privacy Policy applies to
ShopDAQ services and content only. We do not exercise control over the
third-party services and content that appears within our ShopDAQ
browser extension or on the ShopDAQ website.
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to:

maintain, protect, and improve our services and develop new services;
and Protect the rights or property of ShopDAQ or our users.
ShopDAQ
processes personal information on our servers in the United States of
America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal
information outside your own country.
Choices
Most
browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your
browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being
sent. However, some ShopDAQ features and services may not function
properly if your cookies are disabled.
Information sharing
ShopDAQ reserves the right to use Google Analytics to compile non-personally identifiable usage data for its website.
ShopDAQ

outside of New Media Properties LLC in the following limited

we will exercise our best efforts to ensure the confidentiality of any

Enforcement
ShopDAQ
complies with the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework and the U.S.-Swiss Safe
Harbor Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce
regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information
from European Union member countries and Switzerland.
We will
cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local
data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the
transfer of personal data.
